I used the Olivine paint on a ceiling in my daughters new bedroom. I did prime the new textured drywall with white primer first.
Then I sprayed the paint on in a thin first coat, and rolled it, with a dry medium thick roller over the entire area making sure to spread the roller lines and shadows out to the point they were not very visible. After it started to dry, I sprayed the second coat enough to cover the thin layer of the first coat and it turned out great. I did thin the second coat I sprayed on with about 10% water. The bad thing was it did take all of one gallon to cover the 14ft x 16ft ceiling.
