Drywall Paper Torn in .5 Bath

Posted by Dave on January 30th, 2001 01:00 AM

I removed a vanity in a .5 bathroom and the builders used glue to 'fasten' the mirror to the wall and some sink trim. When pulling it out to replace it with a pedestal sink, the paint, primer, and drywall paper tore to expose the brown, paper bag like layer of the drywall. I have a textured (some call, stucco) finish on the wall and want to repair it. I do not want to call anyone if I have to, but I know patching this type of look is difficult. Help me!!
