Thanks john, the roff is fixed and the timber is dry, it's the ground floor I'm concerned about.
The red powder which covers everything in the cupboards is this fungi spores? I clean and it returns the next two days - is this dry rot as the cupboard is bone dry and no where near the problem but I think it may be coming in from underneath the cupboard. Can anyone tell me what is the name of the fungicide used to treat these Rots dead.... there must be something that stops it spreading.
The reason I write is simple, all the trades men I have called have given me conflicting advise, if I know how to cure I can see who's genuine. To get the job done.
