dryer vent

Posted by tld on December 13th, 2000 10:31 AM

The question I have is I have cold air coming from the outside through my dryer vent and all the way through my dryer flex hose and into my house. Very cold next to dryer on the floor. I can feel the cold air coming in. Is there something that I can do to stop the cold or any air from coming in the house through the dryer vent? Yes I have a vent with a lid on it on the outside of the house, but that lid is not stopping the air from coming in and down the flex tube and up into the house. Thank-you for any suggestions.
