dry rot in log home

Posted by David Ralph on October 6th, 2000 12:23 AM

The bottom log is 50-60% dead from dry rot. I don't want to replace it. I will get a partial log cut to fill-in the gap I cut out but I need something to fill -in between the old and the new. Is there a cement like compound which will bond and harden the wood?
