While recently renovating I discovered a rafter and a ceiling joist to be delaminating and they had become powdery. I presumed this would be dry rot and so wondered whether you could could give me some advice as to how to rectify the problem, either by replacing joists, bracing existing joists, or by some kind of chemical treatment. I have located the roof leak and fixed it.
I would greatly appreciate your advice and look foward to your reply.
