DRIVIT CLASS ACTION SUIT

Posted by EVA GORDON on May 8th, 2003 10:43 AM

I PURCHASED A HOME 6 MONTHS AGO (12/6/02)WITH MAINLY DRIVIT EXTERIOR. TODAY I FOUND A BUILDING INSPECTOR CHECKING MY HOUSE FOR A LAW FIRM REPRESENTING DRIVIT. I DISCOVERED THE PREVIOUS OWNER IS INVOLVED IN A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST DRIVIT. DO I HAVE A REASON FOR CONCERN? WHEN I PURCHASED THIS 7 YEAR OLD HOME I HAD IT INSPECTED. AND IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT EVENTUALLY THE WINDOWS SHOULD BE RESEALED SO THE SYNTHETIC STUCCO REMAINS INTACT. I DON'T BELIEVE IN THIS LITIGIOUS SOCIETY THAT WE LIVE IN. I JUST HOPE I DIDN'T PURCHASE A $315,000 LEMON. LET ME KNOW IF THERE IS ANYTHING I SHOULD LOOK FOR OR ADDRESS FOR PROPER MAINTANANCE.
THANK YOU,
EVA GORDON
