Several weeks ago I applied Rubberized Driveway Sealer to my asphalt driveway. I had to roller the edges, then using the squigee/brush applied the sealer. The job seemed to go OK.
Now, I have tar fallout all over the front porch. It is pinhead size dots like paint overspray. On the gutter, alumuinum soffet and porch ceiling, windows, cement floor, etc.
I cannot figure out how this could have happened. I have spent 25 hours so far cleaning little dots of tar using automotive bug & tar remover.
What will be the best way to clean the cement floor? TSP & water? Will it harm the shrubs?
Does anyone have a clue to how this could have happened?
The weather was about 85 to 88 degrees and sunny when I applied it. I did not over brush, simply spread it and squeegeed a thin coat. It seemed to dry in about 4 or 5 hours. Did not use the driveway for 3 days. It did not rain until 3 days after application. Did not notice the tar dots for about a week (wasn't looking either).
