drainage problems in new house

Posted by Erica Holleran on May 31st, 2001 07:35 PM

I do not know what to do we just had our home built in November and we are experiencing so many problems. In December the back yard caved in and the patio sunk. Now we noticed in the finished basement our carpet is all wet then we go looking further and notice there is mold all over the dry wall. I love our builder and he has great intentions but I am not sure that everything will be fixed and me and my husband are clueless. Also this is the second time our yard has been dug up and once again we will be without grass. What should we do? I have been told by many people to contact an attorney but I hate to do that, on the other hand this is also a big investment and we need to watch out for ourself!! HELP!
