WHEN TRYING TO FIGURE OUT BASEMENT'S FLOODING PROBLEM IN A HOUSE BUILT IN THE FORTIES, COULDN'T FIND WHERE GARAGE DRAIN COMES OUT, IT SLOPES TOWARDS THE BACKYARD AND THERE SEEMS TO BE NO CONNECTION BACK TO THE STREET. HOW CAN I FIND WHERE THE PIPES LEAD? IS DIGGING BACK TO THE STREET THE ONLY ANSWER? THERE IS A DRAIN PIPE COMING OUT FROM THE BASEMENT SINK LEADING TO THE STREET BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT THIS PIPE/CONNECTION IS ABOUT 15' AWAY AND ABOUT 1' HIGHER.
