I have a rather small backyard and I plan to completely redesign it, but the first problem I would like to resolve is the severe puddling problem. My backyard constantly floods all year. During the winter because of rain, and during spring and summer, because of neigbors watering their lawn and plants (my yard is lower than the neigbors yards which completely surround my yard). I have read about drainage systems that drain into the street, however I would rather not do that being that my side yards are completely concreted and I do not want to drill holes not only into my own concretem, but the sidewalk as well. Is there a simpler solution that contains the project within the boundaries of my backyard?
