Ditto on Dr Basement. This guy knows his stuff. One suggestion on basements, after you allow moisture vapor to pass through a wall assembly, provide enough dehumidification to keep the relative humidity below 50% and you basement will be the nicest space in your home. If the humidity is uncontrolled, the space will grow mold after 48 hours of high humidity. Get a good relative humidity meter and track the relative humidity.
