Hi R.Felton.
take two saw benches ( saw horse) lay a door flat
on them them go to the bottom of the door, cut the
door to the lentgh you want ( save the part you have
cut off), and you should have a lentgh of timber between
the panels.
now clean off the panel material and you will have the
timber at the size you want, now clean the inside of the
door, up to about 3", now you can glue and nail ( lost head nails)
small ones, the timber back in to the door,
and thats all you have to do, I hope you didnt fit the hinges yet.?
anyway good luck with it, but you should not have
any problems with it,
If you wait maybe some one else on the board can
come up with a better idea,...John 2000
