not only is the moulding ribbon grade mahogony but also the baseboards are mahogonay. The doors, jambs, mouldings, and basebords are stained (dark brown) and it appears to have a coat of varnish (satin) over the stain. Is there such a thing like a stain remover?
I like the suggestion on punching the nails into the jamb or stud.
If I took the option of painting everything ---- would I need to strip the varnish and stain?
