I checked into this for my old frig. It costs around $250-$350 for someone else to do it with the correct paint (enamel). If I tried to do it myself, I'd have had to do it outside (problem with parrot and other pets) and then do it in a bug proof area and on a windless day. Too much trouble. However, another idea would be to get magnet panels of the color of your choice and stick them on. Some of the new frigs even have options for different faces.
