On YOUR Dimmer SWITCH:

The green is Always ground.......

The Black is the "common" wire that connects to the dark screw on a standard 3-way switch......

Two REDS are Travelers....they connect to the BRASS screws on a regular 3-way switch.....

OOOps......You already removed the old switch without marking the wires position? Visit here:

It's a little complicated....Hmmmmm.....

Psssssst........don't tell anybody......But this is one time you can just switch wires and try it without causing any 'problem'........

ALWAYS REMEMBER: GREEN is the ground and DON'T change that........

But all three other wires are 'BLACKS'/HOTS and are 'safe' to switch and "test".........

Not working CORRECTLY?.....The TRICK is the wrong wire is attached to the BLACK (Common) dimmer wire.......50/50 chance since you only removed ONE switch......RIGHT?...........
