I have found that the Dif is a very harsh chemical at all. Although you may want to wear some gloves, I don't remember wearing any. I think it mainly just kind of messy. Remember you need to score the paper first
before you apply the dif. This lets it get down to the glue. But 5 or 6 layers....that a lot of scoring and "diffing" but it may work better than the steamer. You may end having to use a combination of both with a little
added scraping, pulling and old fashioned elbow gease to get the job done.
