Most buildings are built from the bottom up and then finishes and coverings are added to the inside. Demolitions or more accurately disassembly, should generally reverse the process. Start with removing the fixtures, finishes and coverings inside. With the framing exposed, deactivate and remove any electrical or plumbing, then the roof and walls can be dismantled safely. Finally, demolish any foundations.
