Delta model 40027, single throw kitchen faucet. To cure leaking and rumbling, I replaced the two springs and gaskets inside the faucet. The ball is the original, about 15 years old and made of copper alloy (I guess). When reassembled, the faucet still leaks. Two questions:
1. Should I also replace the ball? The only ones available are Acme nylon ones.
2. How should the ball be seated? There's one large hole and two smaller ones.
