Delamination of subflooring ( first time buyer)

Posted by Brian on July 14th, 2001 04:14 AM

A home inspector just completed a home inspection on a house I am looking to buy. While the home inspector was in the crawl space of the house he found that there is some delamination in the floor. He said that the floor is still structurally sound and that everything look dry.The home owners are not going to do anything about it because it is quote "structurally sound". The home owners also say that it has been that way for 16 years now. They say that they kept it from getting worse by putting down gravel and installing a sump pump. Is this something I need to worry about? What ways can this be repaired? Should I walk away from this house? Looking for any input. Thanks
