that is delicate work. Get a detail sander, get some dentist tools, and apply paint stripper liberally in this area. You might work some panes loose with the chemicals and just the removing of 100 year old paint buildup. If so, that is not a problem.

No real time savers, just patience from you and dedication.

So you are not interested in buying new french doors?
