12' x 24' pressure treated deck approximately 8 to 10 feet above grade. What is an acceptable distance between the railing posts? Posts will be 4x4 notched to transfer load to rim joists and secured with two galvanized 1/2" lag bolts per post. I was originally planning 4' between posts but would like to try 6'. Is this acceptable?
