After a ton of reading users feedbacks and the consumer reports to three, I have decided to go with Cabot Decking Stain. According to Consumer reports, this is only 1 of 3 that held up after many years of weathering, plus it's affordable (about $25 a gal.) and easy to locate (go to to find a store locator in your area). I will probably go with the Rosewood or New Rosewood color (Still trying to see what would work with the look of the new house). Thank you all for your input. Sikkens was a close second, though it was twice as costly, and seems to be the one to buy if you have a cedar home or deck, but since I don't Cabot was the way to go. Steve in Barnhart, MO
