Hi Peter, see youre starting your own mushroom farm
If its only on your sill plate, then you need only clean
up and spray the whole area, "how many vents" up to you
but what it means is there is some damp and warm air down
there so you will have to make sure the air is always moving
ie: vents, if you can place the vents across from each other
then you will get a flow of air, some people fit a small extracter
fan and let that do the work, the trick is to keep the area dry
so more vents the better. also if you have plants/bushes and things
that around the house, clear them away ( to let the wind come through
the building) make sure you dont have any bits of wood on the ground
under the house, this is food for the fungus,.
Also have a look at all the down pipes around the house, you may have
one that is letting in water into the crawl area,
and that will give you problems, so clean the sill plate and spray the
whole area, .... and good luck... ( just keep your eye on it now and again)
