To really get a true deep color in the Ralph Lauren line, you would first need to prime the area with RL Deeptone Primer (16925) tinted into the same color. The primer accepts up to 14 ozs. of colorant and gives the colors the richness and depthness seen in the samples.
This also saves you money and effort as it will only take one or two coats of paint to finish the job. (Red and Yellow colors don't cover as well as blues or greens)
The primer retails between $16 and $18 depending on where you are in the US. Most Home Depots and some independents will carry the line. For more information, please call our customer service line at 1-800-379-POLO (7656)

Good Luck
