there is no way to get a very professional look without taking it to a top shop. Most shops will make a couple cuts for about $20.00, and that is very reasonable considering what the saw blades for those overhead panel saws cost. That being said if you must, which I have had to do on the job site, you can cut it with your skill saw from the bottom of the deck, and then sand it to your line with a belt sander...being extremely careful not to over sand.
