Cutting laminate counter tops

Kathy, good that you called. There is a special jig saw blade for cutting laminates. It is a reverse tooth saw blade. Ask for that in particular.

kathy, when I cut out sink holes and such for laminate counter tops, I of course use this blade and then I lay masking tape on the surface to be cut and then draw my line of cut on the masking tape just to make sure that my saw sled does not marr the counter top.

With this blade you can cut on the top of the counter top.
