Hey John, you better check the date next ot your name. c'mon man it's the year 2000, go out and get yourself a powered mitre saw,(Makita makes a great one)If you don't know how to cut crown moulding,building a mitre box will probably push you over the edge! My advice is to go to Home Depot, sit in on a how -to clinic on crown moulding application then purchase your favorate color mitre saw and try it out with some scrap pieces of crown. After you have spent a sizeable amount of time and money on designer firewood,you might want to think about calling a professional finish carpenter and have it done right.
