Dear Roberta,I agree with Jay. More details are needed,if responses are to be accurate.Since the building was built in 1915,can you confirm that the foundation is poured concrete? Since you mention an artist at work ,is this a commercial building as opposed to a home? Is the crumbling material painted on (like white wash) or is it the walls themselves which are crumbling?Describe the floors, their condition,(e.g. are ther cracks,humps etc.)and the material from which they are constructed.Thank You,Jack Masters
