Mac, forget the compound cuts.Turn the crown upside down,set it on the the mitre saw as it would set on the wall.(the table would be the ceiling,the fence would be the wall.Bevel would be straight up 90 deg.,miter at 45deg.if you are working with a90 deg inside corner.)You can cut all your mitres this way.I have found it much faster this way.Of course this only works if your saw will accept the size of your molding.Luck
