There is a heck of a lot easier way, Ron. I have had critters under the concrete front porch stoop and under my above ground shed. When I see their activity, I just go buy a box of moth balls. On the porch stoop, I just pitch about half a box in the hole and move the dirt back over the hole in a couple of days when they have gone. For the shed, I spread half a box under the shed and leave the other half box open in the locked shed. No critters--skunks, possums, coons, etc.--and it only costs a couple of bucks a year. My local mass marketer carries moth balls in the housewares section.
