Our home in the Pocono mountains is on a crawl space. The beams under the house are rotting due to the moisture. We have had estimates to replace the beams, but in order to eleviate this problem completely, we are leaning toward raising the house. We would raise the house up to ground level, have a garage, and a den. The house is a module, 40X24, and is approximately 23 years old. When we raise the house, what would be the best way to control dampness from seeping in thru the concrete.
