Crawl Space humidity

Posted by Dan B on September 12th, 2002 09:04 PM

I read "Shawn's" posting on this same issue and I already bought a dehumidifier (yes, the pan fills quickly). It is not part-basement, it's all crawlspace and I've got mold starting to form in some spots even. We try to keep the dehumidifier on as much as we can. My gutter drainage has been redone on the uphill side of the house (put in big O pipe that drains run into, then on to municipal drain). I've considered a vent or two to the outside but I have to consider heat loss (heating duct does blow into the crawl space). Can you help ?
