Crawl Space

Posted by Pat on March 6th, 2001 06:26 AM

I'm having a new home built on a crawl space. My builder misread the purchase order and constructed a concrete block foundation. The mistake was realized before any concrete was poured into the foundation and I have been told it will be corrected.

My questions: Is this possible without really starting over, aren’t crawl spaces dug lower than block foundations? Could I end up with an unstable foundation? What can I do to ensure it is done properly?
