Hi Mike
Unfortunately, the drywall joint cracking you are experiencing probably has little to do with drywall installation quality and everything to do with the use of non-dry framing members and foundation settling. It typically can take 4 to 10 years for insulated and sealed framing lumber that was not at the right moisture content to get to the right moisture content and quite contracting. Until that happens (if indeed this is your problem) you will continue to experience drywall joint cracking as well as sticking doors and windows that gradually slide less well.

FWIW, when I go shopping for "kiln dried" framing lumber, I take my moisture meter. I hate, with a passion, having to go back and redo part of my work
