Nicholas,

I borrowed this from Garrell's Appliances, The Appliance Pro's on the WEB. (Just a plug. I've chatted with the boss a couple of times.)

If you want more info on appliances, bookmark the site! My best to ya and hope this helps. I believe you can e-mail Garrell's from their WEB site if your question doesn't get answered here.

Dryer does not heat

MAKE SURE POWER IS OFF BEFORE REMOVING ANY PARTS FROM DRYER.
Check for power (See their WEB site for Troubleshooting Tips on how to do this.)
Motor must be running for dryer to heat.
Check to make sure temp select switch is not set to air fluff.
Check dryer door switch
Check dryer thermostats (these are usually located on the heater element canister and in the dryer door opening.)
Check dryer element for continuity you visually look at it to see if it is broken.
