Dallas, Texas area, the home centers are not sure what will take place and do not sell this new aqc type preservative material as of yet.

My neighbor is the Gen Manager of a Home Depot in the area and their plans according to him is to continue selling the PT wood up to the deadline, and until then begin phasing in the synthetics more and more. Wolman the designer and maker of Wolmanized Treated Wood does offer an alternative to CCA wood and it can be readily bought but according to him its much more expensive.

Synthetics are not doing well in our heat and extensive UV situation. Time will tell that is for sure.

I have not consulted any lumber yards in the area due to thier high prices, only for Redwood and Cedar do I get with them.

Lets see what happens.
