It's the hot time of the year. And down here in the south it's just begun. We were wondering if keeping our air conditioning unit "on" throughout the day might keep our electric bill down. Sounds silly, we thought. But we heard that by starting and stopping the unit during the day takes most of the energy. Should we leave it on at one setting all the time? Or is this a myth? Please let us know what you think. Thanks.
