Correcting collapsing foundations

Hi Stacy,
The problem can probably be corrected by installing "helical piers", which are huge augers that are screwed into the ground around the home until stable soil is reached. The foundation is bolted to the piers which help carry the load and ease pressure on the foundation. The cinderblock will need to be repaired, but if not in too bad a shape, may be able to be pointed up without complete replacement.
