I need to cut into a copper drain pipe to add a drain from water softner with out soldering as the existing drain pipe is tight against the wall. I feel it's to close to solder and I can't pull the pipe away from the wall.(It drains the air conditioner) Also can I hook up the overflow from the water heater to this drain?
