I just can't cope!!! Well, actually, I can.

Ranae - Coping means to back cut the excess wood off of that 45 degree cut you made. Just look at how the 45 degree hits the butt end in the corner you made, and cut (cope) off all that excess wood that is in the way, following the profile of the moulding. Go buy yourself a coping saw - It looks like a tall mini hacksaw with a fine blade. It will allow you to easily turn the blade to follow the profile.
