Cooling the Upstairs

Just a thought or two... Hot air rises, and if you don't keep a doorway closed between the first and second floor much of the warmer air will rise to the upstairs. I have the opposite problem in the heating lower level gets too cool, and I have learned to keep the furnace fan on continuous run at a low speed when the lower level feels cool. If you can have a doorway to keep closed, and have adequate air returns, as Dodgeman indicated, you shouldn't have a problem
