I live in Seattle Washington and I was told that the price of natural gas is similar to the price of electricity now. This is because of the recent natural gas price increase. I was also told to may be stay with electric because when natural gas runs out, electricity will be the only way to go. I always thought gas was better, faster and cheaper than electric. Is this still true? One more question. If I convert to a gas range, do I have to have a hood to suck up the carbon monoxide being produced by the burners when I am cooking?
