In reply to recalled water lines? by Fulla Leaks on February 2nd, 2003 07:07 PM [Go to top of thread]

Greetings Fulla,

Do you know what product was used?

If you did not have the work done, your local Inspection Department will have records of when the work was done and maybe, what was used.

A site visit may be required to tell you what was used. You should call and ask to schedule one.

Be nice and pleasant because your inspection department may be very busy and sometimes alittle understanding on your end will go along way.

He could tell you to hire a plumber to tell you what you have.

Once you know what you are dealing with, the inspection department can tell you about any recalls.

I know there are products that are not allowed any more, but I can't remember any recalls.

Good luck,
