Jay J said it all and quite eloquently too! I have one additional thought that "may" provide "some" assistance. Try applying some "Rain-X" to the glass, it should keep the water from accumulating on the glass. There are two different Rain-X products available, the normal one that is used on exterior car windshields(yellow bottle), and an "anti-fog" formula. The anti-fog formula states that it can be used on bathroom mirrors to minimize the fog from showering. Anyway, for a couple of bucks, it's worth a shot. Good luck!
