In Jan of this year I had 2400 sq ft of driveway poured. It is 164 ft long and was to be a minimum of 12 feet wide and 4 inches thick. Every section has developed cracks some reaching completely across width. The drive specified 3/8" steel on 24" center and none was used. Instead a so called fibre filled concrete was used. Also expansion joints were to be every 25 to 30 ft. and one section is 38 ft. The joint put in only have a 1 1/2' redwood strip at very top of each section. Are these along with old asphalt not properly remove the causes of the numerous cracks.
