Hi, Heather. A Sauder computer desk came with one of my first computers. This is one of the "picture of wood" on particle board types. One day as I was working along, it took on a big tilt to the left and I ended up with a lap full of computer stuff. It was not fun trying to get everything safely on the floor and disconnected. I called Sauder and found that their guarantee was worth nothing.
I spent a couple of hours using a bunch of real wood and a pound or so of drywall screws to brace the thing together. More support at butt joints and some sway bracing put it back in shape. Of course, I now had screw heads showing everywhere. The thing is still going strong many years later but this is sure not because of the manufacturer. It sure does not look like the pretty ones pictured on the box either.
