compound agles on the table saw

I have the same problem which i overcome by the following method:-
support one of the panels on the saw at the angle it will be at on the final product.
swing the panel to the finished rotational angle.
e.g six sides is 120 degrees so the panel will be at 30 degrees.
raise the saw blade about i eight and cut through the edge of the panel.
measure the resulting angle and that is the tilt
angle of the blade.
now with the panel flat on the table and rotated
to 30 degrees the compound agle is automatic.
