IT IS TRUE MOST DUAL PANE WINDOWS WILL FAIL OVER TIME. THERE ARE A FEW REASONS FOR THE FAILURE.MOST COMPANY'S WILL USE AN ALUMINUM SPACER BETWEEN THE TWO PANES OF GLASS. COMPANIES THAT USE THE SUPER SPACER, A SILICONE FOAM SPACER, HAVE FAR LESS TROUBLE THAN WINDOWS WITH ALUMINUM SPACER. THERE IS A COMPANY IN CHICO,CA WHO SELLS A COMPOSITE WINDOW DESIGNED BY GENERAL ELECTRIC,GUARANTEED TO NEVER FAIL.I HAVE THESE WINDOWS IN MY HOUSE AND THEY ARE THE BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE MADE IN MY HOME.
