Cobble WOOD Floor

Posted by GivinSpirit on August 29th, 2001 05:49 PM

I seen today on *** ****'s Home Again, that they were making a Cobble WOOD Floor.

They were using old barn beams cut to size I belive.
I was woundering if anyone knew how thick the pieaces were cut to.

I also need to know what kind of sealer was used in the sawdust grout mixture. I know it was 2 parts sawdust to 1 part sealer, But I did not hear what kind of sealer they used it it or the kind used to seal the floor once the grout was done.

Oh yes is there a special kind of wood glue i need to use to stick the wood pieaces down to the plywood subfloor?

I think that is about it. I really want to make this floor for my Mother, she has always wanted a wood floor and this one I think I can do and can afford.

If anyone can help me with this I will be very greatful. i want to start this asap . Her birthday is comming up.

thanks so much
